Spacious, comfortable lobby
Our spacious lobby was designed for the comfort of you and your pet. The lobby has two separate waiting areas so you do not need to sit near other owners and their pets unless you choose to.
A unique feature of our lobby is that we have seating for your pet! Interspaced between chairs for our clients, we have cushioned benches (chairs without arms or backs) for your dog or cat carrier to sit on. Many pets feel less anxious if they can next to their pet owner while waiting.
For your pet’s safety, always bring your pet on a leash. Cats should be on a leash, in a carrier or in a box.
Warm, cozy exam rooms
Our exam rooms do NOT have cold, stainless steel tables. Instead, our exam rooms feature laminated counter tops in warm, soothing tones to help your pet feel less anxious. A non-slip pad on the counter top keeps pets from slipping.
Our exam rooms are spacious so your pet doesn’t
feel trapped or claustrophobic. We
frequently
perform examination on large dogs on the floor where they are more comfortable.

Euthanasia/grieving room
One of the most painful and difficult times in a pet owners life comes when the decision must be made to euthanize (put to sleep) their loved one. At most clinics, grieving owners must come through the front doors and check into the
front desk, just like they would if they were bringing their pet in for vaccines. This can be a very traumatic experience, as there are frequently other people around. To help make a very difficult time a little easier, we have a special room called the euthanasia/grieving room.
When a pet owner decides it is time to euthanize their pet, an appointment is made with the doctor. The owner is directed to a special entrance that takes them directly to the euthanasia room. There is no need to go into the lobby or wait in the waiting room.
This room is set to be more like “home” than “hospital”. Frequently, euthanasias are performed on a big comforter on the floor so everyone is more relaxed and comfortable. Also, many pet owners will remember the room their pet was euthanized in and refuse to return to that hospital with their next pet. This room is only used for euthanasias so you don’t have to worry about bringing in your new pet and ending up in the same room your last pet was euthanized in.
In the euthanasia room, you will be met by a veterinary technician who will help you through this difficult time. You have the option of staying with your pet while the procedure is performed but you do not have to. Once finished, you will leave by the same private door so that your privacy will be maintained.
On-site laboratory
We have a fully-functioning laboratory on site. Routine tests, such as heartworm tests, stool samples and urinalysis can be performed while you wait for your pet.
If your pet is ill, we can run blood profiles and complete blood counts as well in as little as 30 minutes.
Why wait for test results when you can have the results right away?
